it up, run it through the lines to the faucets then
drain. Check for leaks and cracks. Then fill tanks
as needed |

Hot Water Heater |

Should be drained every 6 months per manufacturer
instructions Check the condition of the electrode
and pressure release valve, Hook up hoses /turn Make
sure RV antifreeze is out of water system and fill

Refrigerator |
| |

Make sure there is no odor of ammonia in cooler
box. Check for any greenish discharge on back of
refrigerator. If either of these occur, contact an
RV repair facility because chances are, the cooling
unit has failed and needs replacing |

Clean and check for leaks, check that it is working
on gas, 12 volt, and / or electricity. |

Make sure side and roof vents are clear and free of
nests and check the roof vent from the top. |

Electrical Hook-ups |

Check your electrical cord for frays, breaks, or bad
spots. Make sure your extra cords are extra heavy
duty. Depending on amp rating for RV (30 or 50),
use a properly rated extension cord available at
most RV parts retail stores. |

Slide-Out |

Use a product such as Slide Out Dry Lubricant on
the seals to prevent drying out and difficulty in
opening and closing. Check to make sure that
slide-out openings are clean and free of any and all
